About Exclusive Pyro
Exclusive Pyro is a sole proprietorship based in the Central Netherlands, active in the online retail of primarily fireworks-related merchandise and on-demand products. We have been involved in the sale of our products for almost 10 years. This includes both factory-made and handmade products. From production and graphic design to product packaging, everything is handled by the owner himself, Tim. Running a webshop with proprietary products involves many risks and lessons, from purchasing to sales. Additionally, Tim collaborates with other individuals and companies, always prioritizing quality. We offer exclusive, handcrafted products, often exclusively available only through this webshop. Fireworks-related products are our most popular, and this is also where our passion lies. Think of products such as keychains, clothing, decorative dummies, wall prints, merchandise, and rechargeable gas and electric lighters.
In addition to this company, there is also a subsidiary active as a decal company, also known as a lettering company, under the name CTP Signing. Think of merchandise and printing, but also vehicle lettering, facade lettering, or interior design. CTP Signing is a relatively young company, but we are certainly not lacking in experience. Back to the webshop: In this story, I want to discuss a selection of products that are available exclusively in our webshop, developed and further developed by us. There is much to tell, too much to give away easily. Experimenting within our projects often costs more than you would like, but over time we learn from it, and investments are simply necessary for growth and development. Good things often take time, and in a certain way, there is often progress, even in the face of setbacks. After many years of experience in online sales, it can be challenging to work with all kinds of people online. Naturally, I always do my utmost to help everyone in the same way, which is why I am sharing this information with my visitors. A reminder to everyone: be patient… People make mistakes, and so do companies. Time is human; without patience, false expectations quickly arise. Haste is rarely a good idea. In this text, I tell my story about how it all began. With many highs and lows, and how a dream can become reality if you are willing not to give up.
The very first product appeared on the Exclusive Pyro Instagram page in November 2016. At that time, our page had just reached 1K followers, along with our pages on FB, Snapchat, and YouTube, which generated many enthusiastic reactions. Later that year, I launched three types of lighters with single prints, and I knew nothing about social media or customer service. Financially speaking, running a business was a matter of trying to earn money and, above all, reinvesting it. Usually with the thought that I would earn it back at the end of the year, when sales figures are generally much higher. In the first few years, however, more went out than I had left at the end of the year. Sales were going well, but prices were too low, and that is why we soon had to raise our prices with new formulas in order to continue doing what we do.
The name Exclusive Pyro became official on February 17, 2017, and shortly thereafter the webshop went live. Since that moment, the name has grown tremendously. Despite the many moments of doubt and uncertainty, I have always persevered and looked for compromises in the form of recycling and smarter production without the customer noticing. We can speak of growth on many fronts throughout the years, and I am very grateful for all previous collaborations with small and large entrepreneurs. Once again, I am immensely grateful for the many enthusiastic responses we have generally received over the years, and our network is larger than ever today. We are doing something that has never been done before, and our motivation remains strong, as we do not limit ourselves to standard norms where misunderstandings are sometimes inevitable. Among general enterprises, Exclusive Pyro is a unique company with a distinctive path, where steadfastness remains a necessity. Prices have always remained relatively low, for those who look closely. Thus, the shop slowly became a webshop with interest from all over the world; a dream come true. Naturally, all the online help has contributed to the success for which we are still incredibly grateful. All supporters, all the people who have shared our posts; you are all amazing! Thanks to this success, we can expand our product range time and again. Thousands of hours have been spent designing all the digital files from which we still benefit years later, alongside the annually renewed labels and designs. There were also various laptops that were lost, and data that had to be recovered, which nevertheless proved unrecoverable. Entrepreneurship is about falling and getting back up. If you own a company and are ultimately responsible for it, you cannot avoid expenses. These costs require attention, in addition to fixed costs. However, fixed costs become a habit, and companies are all too happy to take advantage of that. Partly for this reason, Exclusive Pyro has not sold any form of subscription to date. We like to keep it simple, without fine print. Not only for the customer but also for ourselves and our image; we leave the big leaps to the big companies. Even though we felt the bottom of 2019 like no other. Years later, in uncertainty, the economy continues to change, and so do our prices and the choices made based on supply and demand.
That is life; nothing goes as planned. Take the Arc-X Specials, for example; we tried to sell these in our webshop for almost 100 euros each. But somehow, they didn't sell well in our webshop. A year later, after launching on the Etsy platform with a price doubling, we sold multiple units within a few weeks! This led to the expansion of our Etsy shop, and we still offer a selection of our items today. In addition to our own handcrafted products, we have also undertaken various small and large collaborations with some of the most popular fireworks brands in Europe. Exclusive Pyro has sold brands in our assortment such as Lesli, Mercurius Vuurwerk, Funke, Privatex Pyro, Klasek Trading, Di Blasio Elio, Zink Feuerwerke, and more. Because new brands are added every year, we are always open to new collaborations. Several new brands are already in the pipeline for 2026. More news regarding this will appear on our social media.
With all our years of experience, we still have plenty of challenges ahead, and we are always open to new collaborations and ideas. Often, an idea from a customer or influencer is well-received by others, or even thanks to a competitor tipping us off. For us, trade is a form of connection, and that is why collaboration is very important to us. Your opinion matters to us!
