Talking about us, Exclusive Pyro is just a one-man operation. From the production and graphic designer work to packaging your products, often everything is done by Tim. The man who started it all. Since the end of 2017, it has been a pleasure for me to sell exclusively handmade pyro merchandise all over the world. 

After many years of experience, it can be difficult to work with all types of people online. But I always do my very best to help everyone in the same way. Just a reminder to everyone, be patient… Time is made up by humans; it easily creates an opinion without patience, wrong expectations. But rush is often not a good ingredient. In this text, I am going to tell a short story of how it all started, with ups and downs. And how a dream can become reality.

I would like to take you through a selection of products, which are only available at our shop. Developed by us and further developed by us as well. There is a lot to tell, but too much to just give away. Experimenting within our projects often costs more than we want, but over time, we learn and sometimes good things take time. Often, in a way, there is progress as well. 

We have had several collaborations with some of the most popular firework brands in Europe. Brands such as Funke, Privatex Pyro, Klasek Trading, Di Blasio Elio, Zink Feuerwerke and more. We are willing to work with more brands and we already have plans for new business partners in 2026. Any news about this will appear on our socials.

Even tho this is a one-man operation, our team exists out of a small group of people who are helping me when needed, other companies, big and small. Friends and family, sometimes in a payment way and sometimes in a friendly way. Talking about myself, I am a born pyro and creative businessman with many years of experience with fireworks. Even tho many things have changed, I still have a passion and love for fire and fireworks. And after years of making videos of fireworks, collecting them, testing and comparing, I started this webshop. Near this, I am selling stickers and signing to customers and other companies. Back to this webstore, the first product appeared at the end of 2016 on my Instagram page. I launched 3 types of lighters with just a few prints and I didn't know anything about social media or customer service, money-wise business running, I just made money and I spent it, mostly with the thought I put it back in my company, but in the end, the money I spent was more than I earned at the end of the year. The sales did very well, but the prices were too low. Even tho that NYE was very special. The name Exclusive Pyro became official on February 17th, 2017 and our business has grown very much in service and quality. Our exclusivity drew attention, and in combination with social media, we have made quite a difference. This was particularly because of all the posts that were shared in the months around December, by many YouTubers and pyrofantastics, because what we did was something new. A webshop with customers around the world, a dream came true. Because of the success, we could expand our product range and again, we/I took a lot of hours to design all of the digital files. Our prices rise every year, but we do not really have an option. Anyway, we have purchased more new lighters, and we wrapped them, or let them be wrapped. Later, the category ‘dummy’s’ was added. We produced them and sold them quite well. Many of them were sold out quickly and people only wanted more. Everything was handmade and only available at Exclusive Pyro, a one-man job became a all day and night business with short nights with many different people who helped me in that time of quick and surprising success. Because of the great interest, this category as well, was expanded a few times and we still have new dummies, years later. More labels were designed, new product photos are made every year and we are always preparing for the next round, since we also sell to resellers.

Nothing goes as planned. Take the Arc-X Specials, for example; we tried selling them on exclusivepyro.com, but somehow they didn't sell. A year later, after launching on Etsy, we sold several units within a few weeks! That's why we still offer our Arc-X Special lighters and other everyday products there, along with various artworks, some of which were created in collaboration. There is still enough inspiration with all the years of experience and for collabs, new ideas and growth; we are ready. Many times, an idea by a customer is liked by other customers as well, or even an idea by another competitor. The internet is about connection and sharing. Your opinion is important to us!

Many do not realize that almost all products are handmade before they are put up for sale. It costs a ton of time, everything together. For example, did you ever realize that we test each lighter before it can be bought and before we wrap them ourselves? The business world is a world full of gambles. But not for nothing… In the meantime, we have always looked up from the bright side, and we have quite a few updates. We further developed each product into what we sell now, to our customers’ liking. If you buy something at our webshop, it will be an exclusive purchase, which we carefully pack before your purchase leaves our warehouse. Because there is no AI agent waiting, I always do my best to answer all your questions for quick service.

Years later, we also started a shop on Etsy with some products to upscale our sales during the summer months. The reason behind this has my doubts, but we trust on the support of the platform. Etsy has good payment services and an easy way of communicating between customer and seller. When you have a problem, Etsy is there to support you as a customer.
