About Exclusive Pyro

Exclusive Pyro is a sole proprietorship based in the Central Netherlands, active in the online retail of primarily fireworks-related merchandise and on-demand products. I have been involved in the creation and development of this company for almost 10 years. Both factory-made and handmade products are selectively chosen for this brand and webshop, alongside CTP Signing, which focuses on lettering and advertising for private individuals and businesses. From production and graphic design to product packaging, from purchasing to sales. This involves many risks and lessons. When running a webshop with proprietary products, no day is the same. Many labor hours and costs that many companies would have already left. Working together with other individuals and companies where quality is always the top priority. Exclusive, proprietary handmade products such as keychains, lighters (without gas filling), and stickers that are often exclusively available only through this webshop or in bulk. As is visible, fireworks-related products are our most popular, and we also try to launch seasonal products. Where the passion lies, where the will is. Also consider themes such as survival gear, electric lighters, smoking, 420, grilling, date night, and of course, the firework dummies. Also signs, wall prints, and other merchandise.

Back to the webshop: In this story, I want to discuss a selection of products that are available exclusively in our webshop, developed and further developed by us. There is much to tell, too much to give away easily. Experimenting within our projects often costs more than you would like, but over time we learn from it, and investments are simply necessary for growth and development. Good things often take time, and in a certain way, there is often progress, even in the face of setbacks. After many years of experience in online sales, it can be difficult to work with all kinds of people (online), sometimes simultaneously. Naturally, I always do my utmost to help everyone in the same way, which is why I am sharing this information with my visitors.

The very first product appeared on the Exclusive Pyro Instagram page in November 2016. The Exclusive Pyro 'brand page' had just 1K followers there at the time, along with our pages on FB, SC, and YT, which generated many enthusiastic reactions. Later that year, I launched three types of lighters with a few prints, and I knew nothing about social media or customer service. Financially speaking, running a business was a matter of trying to earn money and, above all, reinvesting it. Usually with the thought that I would earn it back at the end of the year, when sales figures are generally much higher. In the first few years, however, I spent more than I had left at the end of the year. Sales were going well, but prices were too low, and therefore we soon had to raise our prices with new formulas, many costs that have grown every year. Just to be able to do what we do.

The name Exclusive Pyro became official on February 17, 2017, and the webshop went live shortly thereafter. Since that moment, the name has grown tremendously. Despite many moments of doubt and uncertainty, I persevered during the summers and always sought middle ground in the form of recycling and smarter production without the customer noticing. We can speak of growth on many fronts throughout the years. I am deeply grateful for all previous collaborations with small and large entrepreneurs. We can guarantee that your order will give you a fantastic dopamine boost. Although this is, of course, always dependent on the individual. I am immensely grateful for the many enthusiastic reactions we have generally received over the years, and our network is larger than ever today. We do not limit ourselves to standard norms, where misunderstandings are sometimes inevitable. Among general enterprises, Exclusive Pyro is a unique company with a distinctive path, where steadfastness remains a necessity. Prices have always remained relatively low for those who look closely. Naturally, everything in the world is connected to this. Nevertheless, this would never have been achievable without all the online contributions to crowdfunding and on social media. Thanks to the success, the product range can continue to expand year after year, and since 2025, Exclusive Pyro has also been selling several new brands such as Clipper and Zippo.

The whole process is time-consuming, which is why a step has been taken towards AI. This is visible in a few backgrounds. By way of clarification: this is intended solely in a theme-related context. In addition, many hours were spent personally and through outsourcing on designing all the digital files from which we still benefit years later. This also includes regularly updated designs surrounding Exclusive Pyro products. There were also various laptops that were lost, and data that had to be recovered that was nevertheless unrecoverable. Entrepreneurship is about falling and getting back up. If you own a company and hold ultimate responsibility, you cannot escape expenses. These costs require attention and money, in addition to fixed costs. Fixed costs become a habit, and companies are all too happy to profit from that. Partly for this reason, Exclusive Pyro has not sold any form of subscription to date. We like to keep things simple, without fine print. Even though we felt the bottom of 2019 like no other. Years later, we regularly faced uncertainty, even involving fraud, which came very close. The world and times keep changing, and so do our prices and the choices made based on supply and demand.

As is life, nothing goes according to plan. Sometimes a product sells out in no time, and sometimes it takes a year or longer. Take the Arc-X Specials, for example; we briefly displayed these for sale in this webshop for nearly 100 euros each. Somehow, they didn't sell well in the webshop. A year later, we sold several units for double the amount, after launching these exact lighters on the etsy.com platform. Due to the price doubling, we were able to sell multiple units there within a few weeks, something we hadn't managed to do here before. This has led to the expansion of our Etsy shop as well, and Exclusive Pyro still offers a portion of its items there today. The Etsy shop also features several handcrafted artworks, the proceeds of which go back to the company and external development. In addition to our own handcrafted products, we have also undertaken various small and large collaborations with some of the most popular fireworks brands in Europe. Exclusive Pyro has sold brands in our assortment such as Lesli, Mercurius Vuurwerk, Funke, Privatex Pyro, Klasek Trading, Di Blasio Elio, Zink Feuerwerke, and more. Because new brands are added every year, we are always open to new collaborations. Several new brands are already in the pipeline for 2026. More news regarding this will appear on our social media. With all these years of experience, Exclusive Pyro has faced many challenges, and there are still many more to come. We are always open to new collaborations and ideas. Sometimes an idea from a customer or influencer is well-received by others, or even thanks to a competitor tipping us off. For us, trade is about connection, and that is why collaboration is very important. Your opinion matters!
